Peru’s Andy Polo heading to Germany
LIMA – Peruvian soccer star Andy Polo has stated that he is on the verge of signing a move to Germany.
Polo, 17, has placed himself as one of South America’s most promising strikers. He has displayed his talent in Peru at the Universitario de Deportes youth team.
Several European teams have shown interest in signing the teenage sensation, including Liverpool and Arsenal of the English Premiere League.
But the young striker’s agent, Borja Gonzalo, is reported to have said that he is close to signing a move either to Hamburg or Schalke, Germany, in the next few days, according to the Mail Online.
A deal for Polo is expected to come through on Thursday or Friday this week.
