Ecuador tourism campaign in northern Peru

PIURA – Ecuador’s tourism campaign, “Ecuador, destino sin fronteras” or “Ecuador, a destination without borders”, arrives in the northern Peruvian city of Piura on Thursday to promote its cultural and sustainable tourism attractions.

The campaign kicks off with a dance and music performance in Piura’s Plaza de Armas.

The campaign is accompanied by a delegation of 150 artists and business people, headed by Ecuador’s Minister of Tourism, Freddy Ehlers Zurita.

A promotional video, “Ecuador ama la vida” or “Ecuador loves life”, will be shown, followed by artistic presentations, music and dance performances.

The campaign heads to Chiclayo on Friday, at the Chiclayo Municipal Palace, and then to Trujillo on Saturday.
